A rather energetic Saison (made with Golden Promise as I had it on hand and it needed using up, and hopped with Saaz and Aurora. Yeast is CML Wallonia.

It finished at 1.005 which isn’t quite as dry as I’m used to (I’ve mostly used Belle Saison which seems to get my beers down to 1.001 or lower) and ABV wise it comes in at 4.5%, but on the whole it’s quite drinkable.

Back home and limbering up for a curry. Comparing bombers to fighters would normally be like comparing apples to pears but when it comes to beers this Lancaster Bomber beats the current Spitfire and only cost £1.25! Just noticed this score on shot but now 1-2 unfortunately!
