Is one making its way into the October dark beer comp? Could do with getting the numbers up a bit.
I had thought about it, are you happy with a 330 ml bottle and when will you be judging, can get one out on Monday?

Yes mate, 330ml is fine and probably actually better for an imp. Will probably aim for the second weekend in November to judge.

Just back from our local in Powys and Tileys Ordinary Pale Ale from the Salutation in Glos. Loads of flavour for a beer of 3.8%!
Close to Halloween so this seemed fitting, lovely beer

Tucked away at the back of the fridge was this saison from I think @pilgrimhudd .
I think it has lost a bit of fizz because I kept it too long (😳).
Nice pour, clean white head. Light bready malts, gentle bitterness and a light fruity hop spice. My wife likened it to a leffe. Dry ish finish without being tart. Very refreshing and an ideal thirst quencher. Nice 👍

Always thought Beamish was nicer than Guinness.
Agree completely. It’s got more chocolately roast flavour, a dryer finish and better mouthfeel. Must hunt down a decent pint on draught on my next Dublin overnighter.
Good evening tipplers, this should have Been a pale ale but I think I put amber in instead of crystal still a nice drink though
I might be biased though, our local when we lived in Hampshire many years ago had it on tap.

I bottled up some imperial for the swap. Thought I would try one myself. I have run out of gas so it's on the lower end of carbonation which suits for me
