The other beers I missed in Northern Cyprus were Belgian beers so that’s my next choice - my Belgian Blonde. I’m not sure it’s good enough to place in the Belgian Ales competition but it is clean, strong, Belgian in character, and moreish.

After much consideration (and on behalf of the whole forum) this is what I consider to be the best Italian Pils.

Bready malts with a biscuity high note, balanced with noble hop aroma and flavour, and the lightest touch of ester from fermentation pulls it all together. I’m going to miss it when I go home.

Had this month's Brewser box delivered today from Braybrooke Brewing Co.
Thought I would start with the Session Lager. Got some nice subtle toasty character with spicy hops. Nice flavourful light lager. Box came with 2 of each

Very wise choice . I picked up an old crafty hen for old times sake and wished I gone for the 1698. If you like 1698 I'd suggest broadside and 1845 maybe king goblin I can only get the first two from waitrose normally. Some people don't like the SN "Twang" I am partial to it though.

Back now from a pub lunch and having a can of beer from Buxton Brewery. This beer uses a blend of Mosaic and Jester, both hops I like but I’m not altogether convinced about the pairing.

Hat trick - this is my third mildly disappointing beer. This cherry sour from Vocation is neither sour nor the “intense mix of sweet and sour cherries” promised on the can. Again, it is nice but it certainly doesn’t pack the punch of a Kriek … although I do have one of those

Now this IS intense cherry. Take my word for it this is the beer to give you beautiful flavour, smooth tartness, and intense cherry.

Started with a really easy drinking English pale brewed by @Leon103 . Very clean, nice complex malt character..biscuits with spicy and light fruity character from hops..fairly dry and crisp. Cheers mate
