Cheap tasteless lager by the tray

I used to like XXXX and Fosters back then i think most pubs sold one or the other.

A friend of mine who worked in big brand brewing in the early 90s once told me they regularly did benchmarking tastings on mainstream lagers.

The tastings were always conducted both blind and with labels visible.

Apparently Skol routinely did terribly when labels were shown but was always scored very highly when tasted blind.
