Now I have my latest IPA almost ready to go into the cold conditioning stage I can relax and enjoy one of the few I have left. A long neck while I wait to take the bread out of the oven.


Breads out, so is the wife, cutting off the crust before the breads even cooled. Lost count of the amount of times I have told her not to cut the bread while its warm.

Had a few g&t’s earlier but having trouble staying awake in 33 c heat so having this. A far cry from effes pilsner.
Loving these for the price.

@St00 Marzen, a very kindly gifted bonus beer included in with a Pale Ale for the May Comp.

I've not had this style beer so i'm coming in blind. Looks like a lager, lovely clarity, decent head which lasts around half the glass. Golden copper colour, looks beautiful. Aroma, bready and then floral. Taste, i'd say again, bready, malty, quite sweet. Looks like it should be a light bodied but it has quite a thick mouthfeel which coats the mouth. Overall impressions are that I really like this beer, lots, I could drink this all night. Thanks for sharing!

Having a hazy pale kindly sent be @dave_77. Fruity tropical hops are definitely in charge. It’s a great version of a favourite style for me; crisp, refreshing, delicious and incredibly well made. Cheers mate, I'm glad it travelled well and held up in the bottle never can tell with these hoppy beers.
I'm on my way home today so hopefully your beers have arrived safe...I'm looking forward to cracking them open
