A NZ Pale after the Golden Ale.

After four days abstention this is nectar. Nice balance of malt and hops and not weak. I have a feeling whatever I have next will be inferior!

Cleaned my beer lines this morning and had a bit of a pub crawl this afternoon with my eldest daughter enjoying beers from Deya, Gadd’s, Canterbury Ales, and others I’ve lost the power to remember. Actually I’m out with her again tomorrow for a rum and reggae event so I might be a bit absent tomorrow. Anyway, I’m home now and on my own beers. Pirate Pale to start the weekend. Cheers all!

We're trying to avoid beer for a little while until the hubby gets his blood sugar under control, but we're getting there. In the meantime we're having this drop of wine. Seems to help a little.

Tartarus birthday beer. 15.3% 120 minute IPA (I assume the boil time). Very tasty but very very sweet

I’ve made multiple Saisons but for some reason have never actually tried what seems to be considered one of the classic beers of the style and while I would like to claim that my own is better, this is sadly not the case this is just an absolutely gorgeous beer well always good to have something to aim for.
