Taste wise my Kölsch is pretty good, and I’ve ordered the grain for another batch but as suggested by @.Peter. I will be adding 5% Carapils to the grain bill to hopefully give it a somewhat better head (also I really must remember to add the Irish moss to hopefully help with clarity). Ah well live and learn, and it’s still very drinkable despite its issues.

For comparison how it should actually look I have a long way to go.

To be fair the second glass I pulled was a lot clearer so I think some sediment had settled at the base of the dip tube and once that was gone (into the first glass no doubt) it was looking a fair bit better still a tad hazy but certainly an improvement.
