More of a relaxing day today. We have a good sized heated pool and hot tub and with today being pretty warm we’re making use of them. Also having a beer of course, this one a Porthleven from Skinners Brewery. Nothing amazing but still a nice easy drinking beer at £1.50 a pint.

Did you brew this from the maltmiller kit or come up with the recipe from resources. I brewed it recently from what I head read and my guess on percentages and grains I had. How does my recipe compare to yours?

No but I have copied MM recipes in the past.

Bottling an IPA this evening. The last bottle was only quarter filled, so I put it aside whilst I capped the rest. After capping, I reached for the part-filled bottle and took a swig to see what it tasted like.

Apparently this evening I'm drinking starsan.

At least the beer isn't as sour as I thought from that first sip

Covid has finally caught me but haven't lost taste or smell so beer is helping
My American amber tastes nice but the gelatine I added to the fermenter hasn't helped much..amber beers are ugly when they aren't clear.

Still on the dregs of the fv 8 days old a wonderful beer and a full keg in the fridge, talus is a wonderful hop recipe here Brewfather

I'm drinking my latest batch of weiss. I split the batch into three; coriander, tangerine, and coriander + tangerine. All were decent, but rather to my surprise, c +t came out just on top, I think that's the route I would go down again.

Only drink today was an Adnams Eastern Edge at lunchtime in a restaurant, could tell it had a Sierra Nevada influence, pretty good

Back home after 2 days exploring the cambria mountains on my gravel bike. A few pub stops during the journey kept me hydrated. Only feel over once but blame that on the 3 pints of butty Bach I had with lunch on day 1.

Edit - for some reason it is saying Mt photos aren't supported.

I still have a full keg, i was drinking the remains of the all rounder a couple of litre's, the rest is carbing in the fridge and i will be using talus hops again

Got a map of your ride? I am always collecting future options for rides. Did you stay on roads or were you on gravel?
