Head down to the driftwood in St Agnes if you have time, usually got pretty good beer on there and the brewery is across the road.

No. Where is that. There is a mountain bike event near me that sound similar but based around Cider, bloody dangerous.

Lunch today at the Halzephron Inn at Gunwalloe. Nice place, people, food and beer. Followed that with a trip to Porthleven because a chap there selling beers at an indoor market next door to the Shoal microbrewery () promised me he would have some Imperial Stouts - he kept his word and I bought some along with some other beers.

Starting today with a few pints of Skinners Lushingtons to hydrate before diving in to the bigger beers.

First of the big beers. This is a 14% Maple & Pecan Imperial Stout. Very drinkable, the pecan and maple are fairly subtle and don’t have that chemical taint many flavoured RIS’ have. Recommended.
