Having first taster of a new Belgian pale hopped with Lemondrop, Mandarina & Talus. Only 4 days in the keg, needs to mellow a little but I like so far.

Managed to get a fourth pint from the keg and it’s a full one - yay!

Aldi Plum Porter from Harper's.. clearly made to look like Titanic.
Had this before and as a Porter it's alright. More plum would be nice but overall a pretty drinkable beer. Titanic is far better.

Can't say I'm too blown away by siren but I'm a fan of unbarred. This isn't bad. Bit too fizzy for a 10% imp. I can still hear the bubble popping a few mins after pouring. A little thin for the style but the whole chillie and chocolate thing probably has a decent balance. From memory, I have only had one other chillie/choc imp before and that was voted a worldy. So with that in mind, this ain't bad for £6.

Well apparently the dark malts which were on my recipe are no longer, so it's my cockup, tastes nice though, so I think I will change the title and do it again

Well I don’t have any bitter now (for a few days) so starting with an American Pale while I think about what we’re going to eat. I have a few veggies that need eating so maybe I’ll roast these with a bit of chicken

Very light malt and quite a bit of dry hop, I think Simcoe, would be good on a hot day
