The Christmas edition
I saw that. Someone is making a serious margin (or if their customers have sense, nothing). Is that westmalle £75
I looked up a jeroboam and it’s 3l of beer. Still a very high margin. I could imaging coming home with a £75 bottle of beer and the wife’s reactionI saw that. Someone is making a serious margin (or if their customers have sense, nothing).
Still about 8 quid a 330ml bottle - ouch!I looked up a jeroboam and it’s 3l of beer. Still a very high margin. I could imaging coming home with a £75 bottle of beer and the wife’s reaction

Enjoying a pint of Guinness Original while prepping for a stout brew tomorrow and "helping" wife with Christmas cards :)
Had it once… Never again. Why does this taste so chemically ?
I think lots of flavours do. What’s worse those flavours in my experience don’t condition out or if they do they take a very long time. Why does this taste so chemically ?

Yes. 3 litres. I think it's mostly for the novelty factor of the huge bottleIs that westmalle £75
Very. It's been over a decade since I had their normal version. Nicely fruityNice ?
You’ve reproduced an alcoholic version of the worlds most popular drink, what’s not to like?Drinking my winter Wassail - which this year disconcertingly when not poured with a foam head, looks and tastes rather close to Classic Coca Cola… mind you at more than 7% this amount should last most of the evening if I want to stay awake
It’s not the prettiest beer I’ve made , I suspect it could do with a few months of quiet conditioning though.
