Is that westmalle £75 
Stopped off for a Pizza, and had one of these with it.
I saw that. Someone is making a serious margin (or if their customers have sense, nothing).Is that westmalle £75
Maybe they’re Egyptian pounds?

I looked up a jeroboam and it’s 3l of beer. Still a very high margin. I could imaging coming home with a £75 bottle of beer and the wife’s reaction

Not worth 75 quid though... I'd drop that.

Enjoying a pint of Guinness Original while prepping for a stout brew tomorrow and "helping" wife with Christmas cards :)
Had to pop out earlier to pick up a couple of bits for our friends coming round tomorrow so also picked up a couple of these, why not?

Why does this taste so chemically ?
Had it once… Never again.
I think lots of flavours do. What’s worse those flavours in my experience don’t condition out or if they do they take a very long time.
I once made a hazelnut imperial that was nasty by the time you could taste the “hazelnut”. Over a year later it was still nasty so it got tipped.
And the second pint of the quart.
Clearer filtered, but that took the head off it.
Still had condition though, as it was so cold filtered, being that it had been stored out in the garage.
Oh, and that screw - in stopper.

Drinking my winter Wassail - which this year disconcertingly when not poured with a foam head, looks and tastes rather close to Classic Coca Cola… mind you at more than 7% this amount should last most of the evening if I want to stay awake
