That looks the goods, what was it like?
Sorry can’t give a true opinion as I’d walked 13 k along the coastal path and for December was glorious, so I was gasping for a drink and it went straight down, I think that helps it’s case.

From the website we have the following.

Betty Stogs is an award-winning, copper-coloured bitter brewed since 1997 using Cornish water; whole-flower Celeia, Northdown and Aurora hops; malted barley and wheat; and Skinner’s unique yeast.

TASTE NOTES

Copper-coloured, with a light malty aroma, a floral, even cedar taste, and a sharp tang of bitter grapefruit, this is an ale that has the strength of character to take on tasty dishes like stews, hard cheeses and meat-packed pasties.

A pint of 'blackcyl', which is a wild yeast dark ale from a little cellar pub in Warsaw old town

Full of flavour, really really heavy umami feel to the whole thing, with a big roasty chocolate aftertaste. Gorgeous

Then I thought I would make one of those warm wort and whiskey drinks but didn't have any whiskey so had to settle for rum...nice though.

This was from my DIY advent.
As it says a classic C hop IPA..slight malt sweetness with a heavy Centennial (maybe) character..very good.
Tasted 3 beers from this brewery after hunting down Tipopils, IPA's are just as good as the lager..after watching 2 Seasons of Stanley Tucci's Italy and drinking these beers Italy is calling me...

When we went to lake como we were across the bridge from Lecce, the village had two craft breweries and the supermarket sold a.massive range of beers including dogfish head from the states.
