Drinking a couple of these while making the long suffering wife watch The Good, Bad and the Ugly. One of the most important Westerns ever.

Not sure she agrees, but she seems to be putting up with it in good humour. Perhaps it's the Vodkas I keep making her.

Whole I wouldn’t say it is that close to commercial Black Sheep it is a nice easy drinking session beer non the less.

Whew! Looks like I've caught up with the yeast activity.
A head yes, but condition pressure hardly.
Lovely day in the sunshine to do it on, definitely.

At another bar tonight, The Malthouse. Lots of nice beers, so many they don’t have them on a drinks menu, just a QR code to a website. I’m starting with a Fix Dark, a Swartzbier. Nice and roasty.

A cheeky wee Bitter & Twisted clone, followed by a Deuchars clone from Crossmyloof. Both excellent in the Glasgow sunshine

Is the Deuchars any way near?

Definitely better than the stuff they sell in bottles now. More like draught Deuchars from about 20 years ago.
