Probably the last for tonight and I’ve decided on Summer Breeze.

Four beers all fermented with Lallemand Verdant IPA..... in case it's not obvious I'm liking this strain 👍🍻😁

AG#82 Mustang Ale - Sadly it's all gone now but I was thrilled with this, easily the best bitter I've ever made (albeit slightly by accident) and maybe the best beer period. Crystal clear, dark amber with an off white head, malt sweetness complemented by fruity esters driven (I assume) by the yeast.

AG#83 Mk.V Hurricane Porter - I've made this several times with different yeasts and it's always surprising how different the results are. This one is kinda like a malty chocolate milkshake with some subtle fruity esters. Really nice.

AG#84 Podium IPA - For this umpteenth iteration of my house IPA I moved the boil hops much later to 5mins. I think I've just about got the orangey hit I wanted from the Amarillo dry hop but I'm kind of waiting for a finishing bitterness that never comes - it's a decent enough beer but I think next time I'll go back to a more substantial bittering addition.

AG#85 Mustang Ale v2 - Compared to v1 above I added a dry hop to give it a bit more of a hoppy finish which has worked. The hops and the fruitiness from the yeast work well together. This is probably closer to what I had in mind originally for this beer, but I think I actually prefer v1 even if it was a happy accident!

Apart from a cold breeze (sweater required) it’s been a beautiful day today so we’ve been sat outside. Now having a raspberry sour from my original batch. I think I may still have about 10 pints left because I don’t have it regularly and I tend to have a smaller glass.

That and your summer breeze are stunning tbf 👍

Well my Citra Pilzner has come out brilliantly refreshing and really drinkable, well chuffed, considering the overtemp on the yeast after the sensor slipped off I was expecting off tastes, but it's fine and still young yet, by the time it runs out it will be superb 😂

Starting off our drinking day with this bottle conditioned Citra Weissbier from @Alastair70

I poured into a jug first to avoid the yeast - however most of it was nicely compacted at the bottom of the bottle which made it super easy. Still lots of fizz and head left after it reached the glasses.

The colour is stunning as you can see. I wanted to make sure I had it in daylight so I could capture the true colour.

There is an immediate full-on banana flavour (gorgeous!), and I get clove as I swallow. The aromas are similar. A short while later, the wheat subtly comes through.

My general impression of the beer is that all elements of it come together perfectly! The flavour is round and full, and the sweetness is perfect.

This is much nicer than anything similar I've had from the shops.

The husband is a huge hater of anything with this kind of flavour and esters, but he says he's enjoying it! You've won him over - I'm in shock!

Well made Alastair, this is amazing.

(hope mine doesn't disappoint, as it's nowhere near this league).

The stout that's not a stout is coming good, with some time in the keg, had a few with a mate the other night and it's got a good malty hit to it and the hops are there but not in your face, so all things considered I'm happy, not that I wouldn't have drunk the whole keg anyway 😂
