I have never seen that beer on this part of the world. The only one's I have had is the porter
It's very solid if pricey. Ironically, haven't had the porter and I could drive to that brewery and get some!
People who like stouts have wide opinions (from hearing what is said about stouts on these sites to be the best).
We have a Dragon's Milk stout, made on the far west side of Michigan. It's really good but it is not multi-dimensional, flavor-wise. Even so, darn good.
I'm sure the Porter is around but I feel like I have blinders on when it comes to choosing--always choosing the heaviest stout I can find.

Since all my beer friends (mates) in the UK are in bed (it's 8:51pm here), I'll hog the thread.
This is a KC (Kansas City), bourbon barrel aged stout. Not memorable but, like I've said a couple of times, it's 12.2% ABV so that makes up for any shortcomings.
Bonus: you get to see Crunch's basket of tribbles and Crunch in the background. Seriously, does it get any better than that? I'm not sure it does.
NB You'll be happy to know that I now pause when I spell "color"--tempted to add a "u"--and a bunch of other words. That's not to mention that I want to place the period outside of the quotation mark! Well, I never.
Just having fun. My favorite metal is aluminium.
Cheers.
PS. Columbo does a decent episode in your neck of the woods, plenty of actual footage.

Hebridean wildcat from cml second taste, verdict it won’t last long, how they get this much flavour from 34g of perle and 5 g of sazz in 21L it’s just heaven View attachment 63663
Made this one a while ago while nice it is perhaps a tad too easy to drink given its ABV..

As for me a pint of stout and a pizza in about 15 minutes once the oven has come up to temperature, bliss.
