Trying @dan125 British golden ale. It's not as dark as the picture.
Interesting beer. Very light with a slight orange and citrus flavour. Really well balanced beer. Never had a golden ale reading up it seems a bit of a hybrid.

I thought it had crisped up a little after an extra few weeks in the fridge compared to the early bottle that you had. Glad you said that

It's definitely improved

My Anchor Steam beer is a winner changed the hops to an Aussie Pride Of Ringwood and is even better. I am not sure if you can get POR in the UK but it is fantastic as a single hop in an English bitter.

Becoming one of my favourites, went down and bought some more San Francisco Lager yeast today going to make a 40 litre batch.

No wife and an unexpected day off tomorrow means an earlier start than normal for a wednesday, this ones my bramling x ipa, only 2 weeks in the bottle, it needs longer but I'm pleased to say it's far nicer than the sample I had at bottling.View attachment 47876

With pleasure! I nicked brewdogs bramling x ipa recipe so its 5kg of pale ale malt, 200g wheat and 200g light crystal (although I think my crystal was more medium if there is such a thing).

Hops, bramling x 30g @60
20g @ 15
20g @10
30g @5

I got an og of 1044 but I should have got higher but I think my malt is poor.

Yeast.... I've neglected to write down but probably us05
