I picked some hops yesterday from a friends garden. We have no idea what variety they are but they smell lovely. The question is: Can i put them straight in the freezer or is there some great importance that i need to dry them first? Thanks Neil

I also brew outdoors to avoid the condensation in the shed. I'm lucky that my little daughter has a play house/shed with a canopy :D Another option would be a cheap gazeebo thing from the range. Neil

I,m not sure if the sodastream gas bottle fits the s30 valve. I use the Hambleton bard gas.

Hello dave. I have an old Boots barrel(the white one) and replaced the cap seal with a king keg one. It felt tight to fit but it works ok. As for gas issues, go straight for the S30 valves and bottles. Just take the cap to a shop to make sure the valve fits in the cap. Neil
