Hop question

I picked some hops yesterday from a friends garden. We have no idea what variety they are but they smell lovely. The question is: Can i put them straight in the freezer or is there some great importance that i need to dry them first?

dry them somewhere dark and airy for a few days on a net curtain or similar then vacuum pack or freeze :thumb:

Wendy is spot on!
The only slight difference I would suggest is to vacuum pack AND freeze.

I as q cellarman have bought afew 9's of beer fro
Differet brewerys that have dry hopped using 'fresh' hops and to be honest I havnt tasted a good one yet but I guess it's done and used I places?
