After a house fire there is no way the wife is letting me loose with a propane burner within 100yds of the property
My gas hob uses propane, off a 19kg bottle. But, being fixed to an electric grill and oven, isn't exactly loose!

You don't *need* pumps, chillers, etc. The minimum is a boiler, some demi-johns with air locks, and a plastic brewing bucket with a lid. And some plastic tubing for siphoning.

I might treat myself to some new fermentation buckets. Currently have 4 but only one has a decent fitting lid (yes I do expect bubbles through the airlock!).

You don't even need a boiler, a pot on the stove will do.
Trouble is anyone who gets into all grain and stays with it, won't settle for the minimum equipment 😂
