Hello all!
Seeing as I've got my mojo back I'm planning a third brew, probably for the weekend when I'm on release from the nuthouse.
As you may know I've got a Tribute and my house Pipster pale on the go.
My third choice I think needs to be a dark beer...a stout or porter.
I've got ingredients for both,no I can't do both,so I'm swayed towards the porter.
My notes say I've only brewed the Greg Hughes standard porter which I liked and Hazelwood Brewery plum porter.
Any other standard porter recipes you like?

Clint, you've been here long enough to just throw some malt & hops at your equipment & produce something decent.
Base malt (check)
Crystal malt (check)
Chocolate malt (check)
Bittering hops (check)
Traditional British hops for flavour/aroma (maybe not as you seem to be a citra head)
Yeast (general purpose/Notty/Windsor)

Off you go mate.

The Greg Hughes Honey Porter is really nice

Make a standard porter and throw in some Lowicz either Cherry or Raspberry.
I made a Raspberry with chocolate malt one 2 years ago and still got 3/4 of a Corny for this year
