I'm supping an early bottle of my Free Nelson Motueka brew. It's well balanced, like a pub pint, about 4.5% ABV, moderately hoppy, and about 35 IBUs.

I'd prefer more hops and more bitterness tbh. And some Riwaka hops in it.

Tea, had a few beers Friday, family function last night on the other side of London so I drove and dropping my daughter to Gatwick at 5am tomorrow morning. I might have a couple tomorrow night but I'm working Tuesday, I'll just have to make up for it next weekend.

started with a coopers irish stout that I pimped then had a grolsch purely for the swing top bottle and then a small glass of evil dog dbl ipa of which my lhbs hampstead off the newton rd said was awful and the ingredients that went into it were second rate, well ive got news for him,on a scale of 1/10 its right up there nudging 10 and hes blowing out his arris, can I hold it back until xmas week that's the challenge

Several well earned Spiced Captain Morgans' and coke.
Out of my previously bottled Wilko's Golden Ale (Light Malt) which were disappointly flat.
Hoping now 13 day old Wilkos Golden Ale (Med Malt) will go better when the new pressure barrels turn up and I decant.

Another Golden Ale (Med Malt) ready to go on whenever there is time, any suggestions for a variation to try?

Tonight i am having 1 pint of a Citra Simcoe ale that was dry hopped with Crystal lovely as it is but its a school night:-(

Steve, am i due one of these?

I successfully enjoyed your last masterpiece but a couple of deliveries to Swansea appear to have been erm 'diverted' :-o. so you're entitled to compensation if your parcel doesn't arrive. now our specialist brews are worth at least £5 + p&p. i've had 1 damaged and 2 non deliveries now with other members. maybe the packages should be labelled to discourage diversions from the intended recipient. e.g water samples

Got a mini keg of Fuller's ESB to make a start on emptying, to begin my mini keg home brew revolution!

Had a Wilko delicate pilsner, not very delicate tbh, 7%. Then a John Bull IPA followed by a Coopers Stout. One more and heading over the local for two very, very stretched out pints of Guinness and then maybe one more for luck when I get home. Us Namibians are like that on a Friday night

I have a Hobgoblin Mini Keg (5 Litre) in the cupboard, its supposed to be one of my lads Christmas presents, i am a larger drinker when out (wine at home) but am tempted to have a pint. (i will of course replace it before christmas)

If i open it how long will it last as i can only put it in a cool cupboard not the fridge?
