My latest brew, London Porter. A lot of brown malt in this one. Smokey roast coffee
Cheers for the comments, this is the recipe for this version. It was dry hopped but it's only just started to drop clear..I did forget to use protafloc but it did have a dose of gelatineLast night I had an American Amber from @dave_77

My pouring was a bit over-zealous, but the foam subsided to a just-off white finger which persisted through the glass.
Spot on amber colour that looks even better behind light. Was a touch hazy, but assume dry hopped so I don't mind that.
Aroma is a mix of C hops (pine) and some underlying soft fruit esters (can't pinpoint exactly, peach perhaps).
Flavour is resinous on the tongue, citrus, with a firm bitterness.
Moutfeel is smooth, with a dry finish. Doesn't look too fizzy in the glass, but there is a nice spritz on the tongue, which together with the hop bitterness and dry finish keep you going back for another sip.
Personally I would like a bit more malt character - not sure if you used any Munich but I think a dose or increase of that would add something.
This is a style I've been meaning to brew for some time, and this has convinced me to add the ingredients for one to my next order. Cheers, Dave.
Hmmmm pizza!View attachment 98082
A nice bottle of Bordeaux mostly Merlot with a bit of Cabernet Franc (or so the wine shop claims) but regardless an excellent easy drinking red and should go perfectly with the pizza once the ovens up to temperature.
Looks lovely
Just had my last one now moving on to Badgers ‘ Golden Champion ‘
A Belgian Pale from @dave_77. More notes later, but for now this is an amazing lawnmower beer.
