It should have been - turns out there were 4 pints in that empty keg! Now I can finish cleaning my beer lines.OR - is it a normal sized bucket and a very large glass of beer?

I’ve finished cleaning the beer lines now and trying a glass of my 6.3% ESB which I’ve decided to name “Foundryman”. It’s pretty much what I was aiming for - it’s like a best bitter with just a touch of warming alcohol in the flavour. It is very easy drinking though so I might soon adopt a silly grin and brace myself in a corner of the room where I’m less likely to fall over!

Golden ale for the first half
First Gold bitter after some Carol singing, it's quite flat for one of mine, I'm wondering if I forgot to put sugar in the water I boil and add to my bottles.
It's got some fizz and is appropriate for the style I guess just about. Tastes decent maybe just slightly too roasty.
Bourbon and salted caramel milkshake...don't judge me, it's delicious!

This was bottled from cask so was flat as a witch's tit. Tried the Pocket Beer Engine trick and a little improvement.
Onto the beer, unctious, very caramelly but a dy finish, has an almost spicy note in flavour and aroma. Quite a bitter finish, possibly a bit too much. Reminds me a bit of Plum Porter.

Good evening fellow drinkers, well the NZ pale has cleared up nicely I can say the NZ punch mix from cml is really good next time I do it I am going to give it a 100g dry hop

Have just bought four for £16 from Wye Valley!
If I encounter likeable drinking vessels on my travels I ask the staff can I buy one. This sometimes prompts them to offer one as a gift...after all loads must get smashed and heaven forbid,stolen.
