Prompted by several recent posts I thought it would be interesting to see what the split is across Kegs and bottles.. I use both but mostly bottles (currently have 200+ bottles waiting to be drunk)

I've done extensive bottling which got too much to face any more! I've tried the plastic PBs which were either dreadful or just ok. I've now moved to the Oxebar 20l kegs which are a breath of fresh air! I've ditched nearly 200 bottles, still got a few to go. I'm keeping a couple of crates incase I brew anything like an imperial stout.

Used to keg everything but changed to bottling now with the occasional 4 litre Oxebar. I only ever had room for 2 kegs on tap and 2 kegs conditioning, but wanted more choice of beers. Now I bottle I have 6 different beer styles to choose from at anytime.

I used to have to bottle, but then I got a corney set up, another corney, a 20ltr oxebar a couple of 4ltrs and those Tbar carbonation cap for fitting on pop bottles, so now it Depends on batch size,

Large batch goes in corney+some bottles

Small batch goes either in 4ltr oxebar, 2ltr pop bottles with Tbar and or bottles

I also have around 200 bottles. May I ask how you store them? I am still sorting out shelving in my garage so looking for a good system.
I did buy a dolly trolly and stack plastic boxes on it. Makes it easy to move around the garage.
Thanks

I built my own crates couple of years ago out of spare wood which are stacked in garage and have a selection of what I am drinking in a drinks fridge in garage.

I bottle for the drinks I give away and keg for own consumption.
I decided to reduce the amount of alcohol I consume, so I no longer brew as much as before. I have 4 metal kegs and never used one, plus 2 plastic 8 litre from Legland and did not use one either. Have several glass bottles like Grolsch that I give to people I know I will get back and Pepsi-Coka plastic bottles to give away with less chance of getting back

Did you buy it from Malt Miller? Did they charge a delivery fee, if so how much.

160 x 500ml bottles, most of which are usually filled.

5 x 5 litre kegs, sometimes for beer but usually cider or whichever random weird melomel I've recently made.

6 x 10 litre pressure barrels, still experimenting with 'casking' in them.

2 x 25 litre pressure barrels, at the moment one is full of my light ale (experimental again, trying double dropping with that one) and the other is full of mead.
