Bought a 6 pack of Cooper sparkling ale I am going to harvest the yeast tomorrow from the 5 remaining cans. How many beers, from anywhere do we mix the lees with the beer before consuming it? So no familiar again with Coopers yeast.

Cool head red and black in Oliver's corner rovaneimi. Best bar in town center..... But a hard rock bar round the corner is also worth a visit. Better music less choice of beer.

Was ok. Not found a Vault City or boon level of sourness in Finland yet.....

This was good.

So far our trip to Finland has been great. Flew into Helsinki. Got rinsed on some bars for a drink there. (It was expected)

Then up to Rovaneimi. Currently on way back to Tampere for a night and then back to Helsinki.

Tips: buy beer from supermarkets before 9 and then you can only get up to 5.5% unless you go to an ALCO store. I kid you not they are called that and are government run.

Bars can sell you stronger but cost more obviously.

I've not been able to accurately find a definitive answer to the question of taking alcohol on trains other than if they have a restaurant car you can only drink their supplied alcohol on the restaurant car but if the sell alcohol as a trolley service the whole train is licensed.

Finland had a beer and spirit culture so not the place for wine buffs IMO.

The beer is better than you can get in Spain and southern France though. I've not come across any really poor beers but of course with higher prices you subconsciously expect amazing beer and it's been constantly above average.

I had an impy but my own is better so why would I pay £10 for another one? The red and black was one I would repeat, like a vault city beer but much lower sourness.

Fat lizard are a safe choice if you come across them.

I’m cleaning my beer lines at the moment and was hoping the keg of porter on tap at the moment had only one pint left so I could pour a pint and put the new keg on after cleaning the lines. It hasn’t worked out that way because the keg didn’t kick. Ah well, I’ll just have to pause the line cleaning while I finish this keg…

Red IPA, interesting. Also interesting narrative.
