So much to catch up on.
Last week included a significant date, so much eating and drinking!

That was a week's worth.
All were good, some were excellent.
The Burnt Mill Cloud Chamber with Citra, Talus and HBC586 hops for one. Duck a l'orange was with decanted Madiran. Perhaps a tad too dry.
The '98 Claret was Fathers' day with roast lamb. Excellence.
The BB/IPA stove top brewed by me Feb '21had turned into an old ale like Wadworth's Old Timer. Wonderful.
The 34 y/o Austrian Bouvier grape TBA sweetie went lusciously with a family traditional family events strawberry and cream double layer sponge cake.
Today I cycled up the Downs and back.
Some chance that will counteract all the excessive consumption!

Have started a BJCP judge training course with London Amateur Brewers so last night we had the delights of:

1. Standard American Beer
  • 1A. American Light Lager: Bud Light
  • 1B. American Lager: Budweiser
2. International Lager
  • 2A. International Pale Lager: Birra Moretti
3. Czech Lager
  • 3A. Czech Pale Lager: Vinohradská 11
  • 3B. Czech Premium Pale Lager: Pilsner Urquell
5. Pale Bitter European Lager
  • 5B. Kolsch: Fruh Kolsch
4. Pale Malty European Lager
  • 4C. Helles Bock: Ayinger Maibock
As you can see the night got better as it went on!
