Verdant Off Planet (6.5%)

My default when I want a non alcoholic drink in the pub or even just something cold before I move onto beer.

Mistakes where made and the attenuation on this beer was a tad higher than expected, but it turned out pretty well, only downside is that it goes down just as easily as my 4.9% larger.

It's been a tough day in the Leon103 household today and surprised I have waited this long.

Thornbridge are now brewing Kelham Island's Pale Rider since the latter's demise. Haven't had it for many years but seems faithful enough.

Just been served a pint of cask vinegar in Weatherspoons. Took it back for a replacement and watched one of the bar staff doing his best wine connoisseur impression to confirm it was expired. Don't know that his conclusion was as he looked puzzled but it stunk

Having a malty Amber instead now it's not bad

Just got home from a pub lunch (I know!) and while pouring the first pint of Pirate Pale the keg kicked. That’s quite handy because I have beer that’s been fermenting for 18 days waiting on a keg. It’s also handy I have another keg of the Pirate Pale that’s been waiting to go on tap. The first glass is a little overcarbonated but after pouring a couple of pints that will settle.
