Back home after a lovely day/night away. Had some cracking beers. Best of the bunch was a cashmere single hop pale from Pollys. Not a hop you see much of but its was fantastic.

Back home and started on the bitter (pictured) and now moving onto the WCIPA

Just comparing @dave_77 Altbier with my own attempt. Dave's beer is on the right.
Colour, clarity and carbonation are both very similar. Aroma and taste are different, I am guessing we used different yeast's.
My beer seems to have more body and more malty if that makes sense
Dave's beer is very clean and lighter, picking up a different taste which I am putting down to the yeast.
Both nice beers, unfortunately I have never had a commercial Altbier. Cheers for sending, I will post a bottle of mine for you to compare 👌

Just checked Dave's brew thread, we used the same yeast 😂😂
Now you know why I am not a certified judge
