Did someone mention Pils?
Here's a Scottish can of it from the aforementioned Williams Bros. Alloa.
Also very tasty., with a touch of Brewery added Seville orange.
This is the last of the Beer52 stash.
Well, apart from half a dozen cherry beers and similar.
Looks like I'll have to restart brewing my own again.

Drinking a Clementine Gose from @DocAnna

We've taken it out into the garden to enjoy as it's full sun for a change here, and it's very mouth-watering and refreshing.

Perfect fizz, with multi-citrus prominent sour flavour, but still balanced beautifully with the salt and coriander.

Not much else to say really, other than great beer.

Thanks Anna! 😀

It's very quiet on here today, but feels like midnight to me cos I've been up since 4am 🤣

The husband saw this wine advertised as being good on the Guardian, so he picked one up. My hat nearly fell off when he went for the rose in the supermarket! 🤣

We're just having the wine, and we had this beer beforehand in the baking sun. A little bit red now. Sweeney doesn't mind though.

That table needs to go in the bin 🙈

Sierra Nevada pale ale, a firm favourite.
I'm planning a brew for tomorrow and had a look at the recipe on the brewery website which lists 2 row pale and Crystal as the malts, single hopped with Cascade.
I've got some extra pale MO, Caramalt and the Cascade. Being off the cuff I've not got California ale yeast but will make do with US-05 - more inspired by than an attempted clone
The recipe calls for a 90min boil for those interested in that sort of thing !

I must confess Saturday Morning Kitchen is a somewhat guilty pleasure of mine, and I do have a habit of picking up wine recommended on it (they actually tend to be pretty good at picking up decent sub £10 bottles, in this case a Romanian wine coming in at £7 a bottle. I’ll be honest it’s not a wine I would typically buy I tend towards extremely dry whites, I like Gavi, or quite recently I gave a very dry Riesling a try for the first time and rather enjoyed it. This one is listed as off dry, creamy with peach flavours (and it quite genuinely has that). But it’s nice it really is, and reminds me that it is worth just taking a punt on a bottle t doesn’t always work out and some can end up going down the sink but also sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised. Makes me think I should give one of the Rosé that where recommended in todays Guardian a try.

Prague is close enough and my Mrs loved it . Pork Knuckle and dark Czech lager🤤
I’ve been to pilsen, brewery is worth a visit.
Prague is mega touristy and there are even bars there that advertise non Czech beer. it was much nicer in the 90s with 25p pints.
