This Mosiac NEIPA is still tasting fresh. Easy going beer at 5% and plenty of hop flavour

Blonde Ale from Dunelty in Co. Monaghan. It’s taken me surprise, strong bread malt aroma with low hop character. But it explodes on the palate; malty with a massive hit of spicy saaz, clove from the yeast and a crisp dry finish. It’s a truly great beer with huge character, not the gentle summer sipper I was expecting. I’m going back to check out their other offerings.

Their porter brehon dhubb is amazing. Lots of unexpected flavour I have a few in the fridge. A great brewery
Their barrel aged porters and stouts are next level as well.

Bottled version of my British golden ale.

It’s much nicer than the kegged version.

Crystal clear- US05 does stick like like the proverbial poo to a blanket.

I kegged ~18L and put the remaining 2.5l in 5 bottles, 4 of which i have given away. So this is a proper unicorn 🤣

Two nights away from home, means two nights away from my home brew. Wife visiting sister who lives close by to Victoria's biggest lake. 600 kilometers of bank. Fished intending to catch roach, some huge bags of roach come out of here. Fished corn and fed wheat, result three trout! Biggest 1.450 kg
Gutted and cleaned and a two hundred kilometer journey back, got back bottled 21 litres of ESB had a Irish red and currently drinking my Foreign Extra Stout.
Jews Creek, an arm of the lake.
