Last of the birthday beers while watching Liverpool, first time I have had tiny rebel the misses can I have a taste her eyes lite up um that’s nice, she supped it all this is a gal who is not a beer drinker ah well I did enjoy the others

Managed to get this just before last night's kick off.
Very pleasant.

Then eventually got on to my second with a lamb/tabbouleh dinner.
Barsham Oaks Norfolk Amber bitter.
Very tasty and complex beer for being only 3.6%.

Seen this in Tesco and thought I would give it a go. Was disappointed with the nitro feel from it very little head and no settling when pouring but it might not have been chilled enough but it tastes a bit flat to be honest.
Nice enough taste from it all considered nice roast flavour. Would drink a few on draught in place of Guinness as there is more flavour to it.

Nice grape and Apricot aroma from the Ernest hops which follows in the flavour. Easy drinking pale coming to a supermarket soon

Tonight we achieved The Eagle in Cambridge.
SWMBO'ds Eagle DNA and my Bitter Old Bustard, Norfolk's Barsham Brewery.
Her's has a gentle dollop of Amber malt, mine is similar but more flavour and bitter, lovely.

Whoah, this is intensely hoppy and pale but full and tasty. Not for the faint hearted, this.
No photo, as it was steak and Ruddles ale time.
