Guest beer time. A West Coast IPA from @dave_77. The hop aroma is really pronounced followed by a grapefruit citrus explosion on the palate. I could drink the absolute **** out of a keg of this. I’ve got work in the morning, a little part of me is glad I’ve only got one bottle.

What kind of glass is that Alistair. I need to get a few decent pint glasses my stock is low. I am just drinking a Maggie's leap IPA. Not bad for the money
I had a good feed these last night

It’s a glass from the Bullit Hotel in Belfast that somehow found it’s way back to ours🤔

Drinking my second beer from @pilgrimhudd , a very tasty Exmoor Gold.
Pours a lovely head that laces the glass all the way down.
Bitter sweet honey maltiness, flowery spiciness from the EKG - very quaffable, Cheers !View attachment 62580

Nice one! Think that's one of the best I've made, as you say, quaffable!

Lovely balance between sweetness and bitterness.
Challenger and EKG work well together, I've made a couple of really nice bitters with that combination (or EKG as a single hop).
Might swipe your recipe for a go myself athumb..

Think I swiped mine from @Cheshire Cat !

They do though, think it's the first time I've made something decent with ekg.

Weizenbock time. The esters are definitely in charge and I’m blaming fermentation running warm from the outset. But now I’ve added a conical with heating/cooling to the cold side equipment I’ll be able to keep the next brew under 20C when it matters.
It’s still a very enjoyable brew all the same.

😁 Glad you enjoyed mate. 👍🏼

Is the UK population more into the traditional IPA or the NEIPA or both?
I don't do either, frankly, nothing to do with anything but me and my preference. I would have bet though that super, high-hopped beers, under any heading, would have subsided. I did a few double IPAs but it didn't stick.
Some of them really do look like delicious orange juice.
