Cracking open my first bottle of Malt Miller Hokum Stomp oatmeal Porter clone. Bottled 02/01/22. Pretty good, a little subtle and not as creamy as I thought it would be but a nice smokiness to it. Well carbonated but no head retention at all!

I've had quite a few of these they are very good for the money but will get rubbished by out and out hop heads as at the price they do not contain loads of hops but I enjoyed both in the past athumb..

Thanks i will give the Ruby Red a try.

Clearing the palate after dinner with a wheat beer. The bottle condition version of this is really lovely. I got a tonne of clove out of the MJ-M20. It’s the only brew I’ve done with it, but it seems to have performed like wy3068. I’m liking balance of yeast phenols against the wheat sweetness and citrus hops, it’s really settled down with a month in bottle.

The ruby red is very Hobgoblin like, which isn't surprising as it's brewed by Marston's. It's not a bad drop, to be honest.

Guest beer time. A West Coast IPA from @dave_77. The hop aroma is really pronounced followed by a grapefruit citrus explosion on the palate. I could drink the absolute **** out of a keg of this. I’ve got work in the morning, a little part of me is glad I’ve only got one bottle.
