Fuggles English pale
9 days in the keg? Get that drank. For hoppy beers I start drinking straight from keggingNot quite ready yet but I couldn’t resist a taste! This is my NEIPA which is only 9 days old.
I’m gonna say this is the nicest thing I’ve made so far. It’s rammed full of pineapple and peach flavour and aroma (for my tastebuds anyway). It’s just soo good and I can’t believe I made it. I don’t think it’ll last long in our house!
I used David Heath’s grain bill, along with something similar to Verdant’s water profile and I chose the hop schedule and yeast. A bit of a ‘take from everywhere’ beer.
If anyone is interested, the recipe is below and the measured values are in the bottom right. It ended up at 7.1% so I’m only having one!

At 89p in Aldi, that was my usual pint until I started to brew again..an easy one to drinkRound at my MIL's after work to do a few jobs and have my tea - Lamb pie and apple crumble !
Not tried Banks's before but this is a lovely light sessionable amber ale with Fuggles and Golding.
Might try something like this myself.

Rubber like a band aid? Or like a tire? What hops did you use?Trying my Italian pilsner, it's got a rubber taste of it. This is a new one for me, it's only 4 days in the keg. Strange one, it will be interesting to see how this develops. It will have around 4 weeks or its getting tipped. Any ideas, fermented at 12 using 2xCML hell

I think probably yeast give it three days to condition and three pints to clear the muck that’s settled out before you write it off.It was also the first pull from a new keg so maybe it is yeast. It smelt fine going into the keg
