A straight up Edringer clone is hard to beat.
Weihenstephan yeast (wy3068 or WLP300) is the nuts for all things wheaty. Although, the one I sent you was brewed with MJ M20 which actually worked quite well.

I see, thank you. I did put WLP300 on my recipe because I thought that would be the most banana-y. That was my favourite thing about it. Will look at the MJ one as well then. I use them for everything they're my favourite (MJ)

Giving the ordinary bitter and best bitter a rest tonight, hot and humid 30C today so took the unprecedented step of sticking a couple of Golden Bitters in the fridge. The tweak for the next batch either Super Pride or Target as a bittering hop, lift the IBU's to about 40.


As you 'To and From's' say, "Champion".

I'm starting tonight with the miseries...off to the nuthouse in half hour. Last one thankfully but I hope it's not a repeat of last night's fiasco.
Never mind I shouldn't complain.
Looking forward to having a rare weekend off. I MUST make beer,my stocks are dwindling...again.

English bitter service will soon be restored. As you say one more night to go, just keep your head down and push through. Double brew-day? Simple recipe/process like an English bitter and an early start should do it. Chin up bud.

A Grolsch bottle sized pint of the Dennis King Vic Secret. A bit lively in the nucleated glass. A bit hazy too but I did use Voss Kveik so not long in the primary. Quite a few IBUs but nearly OK to my untrained palate.
