Summer Breeze 5.2%
4.5Kg Vienna malt
500g flaked oats
250g Torrified wheat
75 min mash at 150F

20g Magnum Leaf AA=15.3% 60 min

1/2 Protofloc tablet at 10 mins
50g Citra leaf AA=13.6% at 10 mins
50g Galaxy leaf AA=12.6% at 10 mins

Cool to 165F
50g Citra Leaf AA=13.6%
50g Galaxy Leaf AA=12.6%
Hold for 30 mins then cool to 70F

22 litres in the FV, OG =1048
10g US West Coast yeast

50g Citra leaf on day 7

Barrel on day 12, SG=1008

Edit: You can use pellet hops just the same as leaf. Also Liberty Bell yeast is just as good in this beer.

Nice one, added to the list (with some tweaks). I might try it with London 3 yeast, I'm bored of US West Coast

Time to try @Pennine German porter.
I remember reading the history behind this beer on your brew thread. Really interesting and I have to say I have never had a Brett porter.
It's pours with high carbonation and a lovely think head which lasts the full drink.
Aroma is unmistakable Brett some light roast. Dark fruit nearly wine like
Taste is very similar. Big Brett character with a really fruity finish. Dry as expected. Very light on the palate for a porter with very light roast flavours.
Very enjoyable beer to drink. Thank you for sharing

It's very light for a porter I am just finishing it off. Brett is such a dominant flavour.

Just trying my own Brett dark winter Saison. This has more reserved Brett flavour but it works well. Just need the carbonation to improve before sending out..

2nd of the night, having a late one for the us election, drinking @matt76 dunkel.

Going by the bjcp guidelines as I'm not that au fait with a dunkel.

Pours with a decent head which lingers. Darker than bjcp states I would say, almost stout black rather than the copper to dark brown.

Not much of an aroma, but bready, sweet,nutty and a definite spiciness to it.

Flavour, definitely malty, with a bready chocolatey aftertaste, not much hop bitterness. But cheating and looking at the recipe you can definitely get the northdown hops.

Medium bodied,moderately carbed, perfect for this beer.

It's a nice beer, not my favourite but I could definitely drink a few. Not sure if I can spot this flaw that you spoke about.....

Hope that isn't too harsh, I did enjoy it make no mistake, it's just a bit meh (in a nice way) if you know what I mean.

Another one of @matt76 beers, AG 55 Hurricane Porter. Right down my street this one.

Pours well, leaving a slight head, good carbonation for the style., dark brown almost black but it might be my rubbish lighting.

Aroma, sweet, not getting any of the breadiness or roastiness that you sometimes get.

Flavour, roasty lovely, well done toast with a sweet liquorice (maybe) aftertaste.

Medium bodied, great.

Overall, great just my cup of tea, i could drink 10 pints of this and stagger home, lovely. I left more of a review of the dunkel, i preferred this one, less to say but loved it. NIce one!

Finishing work today at 3 - watching the football later on and have these to choose from - never drank any of them before: Duvel, Westmalle Dubbel and Hoegaarden. Trying some supermarket new ones to decide what to order for Christmas. I also ordered a Tripel but that was out of stock.

In my work local, all keg 2 quid and cask 1.50. Very sad for the staff, they only reopened last week. Also guvnor just told me all GK pubs been instructed to close at 3 this afternoon.

I don't know but I'd like to find out.

I have made gorse flower infused rum, using overproof rum to try and capture more of that aroma. It is good but but quite subtly coconutty. Could make an interesting addition to a brew.

Beach walk this afternoon. Stopped for a pint - Sundowner, £6 a pint. Nice but served a little too cold for my taste.

Having a Hobgolbin Gold, although it's a nothing to rave about it went down very well
