Snowed a little bit in Ashton Under Lyne, Manchester this morning, but not much.
I want it as bad as last year, love the snow!
Stayed in Carrbrook, Stalybridge over the weekend, got down to -11 over night.

-4 last night tight frost and minor snow fall but thawing out now getting ready to refreze! (OH great another night of cralwing about the roads in second gear) :( will post pics if the snow comes back!

e snow from thursday is still here because its frozen solid! no more since

Nothing here either, temperature was down to -7.5°C a couple of mornings ago but is currently a quite tolerable -2.

However, I'm just filtering 15 litres of WOW and 15L of Fruity Pink, and it occurs to me that there are benefits to the cold snap - no feckin' fruit flies!

It put 2" down in an hour at Wombwell this morning , never seen the sky as dark during a snow shower.
LOVE IT......

We are supposed to get some tomorrow, my workmates were moaning about it, I think i'm the only one who loves the snow at my work.

Not enough options.

I love watching Winter sports and Eurosport will be my default weekend channel from now until next March.

I love it if I haven't got to get anywhere.

I hate it if I have got to get somewhere. For example, if I don't get to w**k or am late, my pay is docked.

It might be more appropriate to say that I hate other drivers who don't know how to handle it.

 half expected that response, but the list could be endless...

half inch fallen in last 10 mins here :thumb:

its falling pretty thick here in dunfermline, didnt go into work today and wont be working tomorrow either, no chance of me even getting out my driveway the snow is falling then freezing over, then snowing and freezing over again, making driving impossible, you just keep wheelspinning. knowing youre not working the next day is brilliant, had a few cans tnite along with £20 on barca to beat madrid at even money.magic!

I'm going to reserve judgement on the poll ... if I have to walk 3 miles to get my little one out of school, then I think my feelings about the nice fluffy white stuff might change.

North London: (Very) small dusting on car roofs.

I hate snow! :x

I have a 40 mile commute everyday and snow makes that hard not least because the world and his wife decide to go and driving at 5mph! On top of that, its dark at home time so any slush has frozen which not only makes things slippy but plays havoc with the underside of my car and the front bumper! I know its low but its not spozed to be a snow plough!

Snowed in Manchester. Evidently according to a neighbour (the barking mad one) we will have 8" by the end of the day.

About 3cm this morning, allowed 10 mins extra for my journey but only needed 2 of them, main roads unaffected, side roads and country lanes were quite fun. It has just started again and the flakes are getting bigger.

bit more overnight but bit wet now. There are some more flakes coming now tho
