I'm currently brewing a mangrove jacks pink grapefruit ipa.and it has dry hops which are due to go in tomorrow , I ordered a couple of small dry hop bags which hadn't arrived yet . My question is if they don't get here in time should I just put the hop pellets in loose and maybe tie one of the bags to the end of my auto siphon when I rack to a bottling bucket.I've done a few kits now and I'm pleased with how they turn out but not had any hop pellets to add until now would appreciate being led in the right direction many thanks in advance

Go to the supermarket and buy a couple of those veg bags they are perfect and many members on here use them for hopping/dry hopping.
They are about 30p and can be washed/rinsed and re-used
I also use them in the kettle. The instructions on the bags say you can wash them at 30 degrees but mine go in for a 60min boil and come out fine, ready to be washed and reused again.

Thanks for your replies , how long do you leave the hops in , it says add them at 7 days then leave for 2 or 3 days until fermentation has finished I've been leaving the beer in the primary bucket for 2 weeks so should I add them later or put them in as the instructions say again thanks for taking the time to help
