Discovered brandy to of late. Very nice. Worrying how I'm now liking spirits a bit more to it would seem. T'is the season.

I went to Cadiz in the summer and got into sherry!!! :shock: Bought a bottle of Manzanilla for Xmas and loved it.

My Mrs loves sherry. I have the odd one when she does. It's rather nice too. Went to a sherry/tapas brain York the other year they had hundreds of them. She thought it was Christmas.

I tried all the types in Spain and went to several bodegas in the place we stayed, which was between Jerez and Cadiz. They serve all sherry cold there, from the fridge. Which won me over. As well as the fact that it's actually a cool thing to do there, it's not a granny's drink. I like the pale ones best...

Mrs always gets a bottle in over Xmas and is always in the fridge. Yeah it's very nice. Sure it's even better drinking it in that location to.

Well Clibit has given me a nice looking IPA recipe using loads of Wheat in it :grin:

Damn Steve.... It took the better part of the day to read through this thread!!!! YOU BREW!!!! Just picked up my 8th mini FV and going to have a LONG brew day tomorrow as well as bottling 2 mini batches. I think I'll throw the new brew right on top the yeast cake.
Anyways, I went ahead and got the Beersmith 2 app and have been loving it. I just wish you could browse recipes on it. I can only see searching. On the site, you can browse.
