Steve, with all those beers, how do you keep track of them? Label, code?
I have issues with names.... Can't ever remember... But numbers I'm spot on. So on the caps I write my brew numbers, 001, 002 and so on. Then in my notes, the names I give them start with the numbers and then the name along with the recipe so I can reproduce them if they're a hit.

Hi when i used to bottle i used different colour caps, then i saw the light and started mini kegging

Yes Stan has had his cannon wheels removed.

out of curisoity....ive always untill recenty had bitches "spaniels" now have an intact mini schnauser....ffs a walk takes forever cause he has to pee on everything...when he does a headstand to **** higher that amuses me,,,,but not good for excercise

He's over the trauma now. And likes me again. Still same old Stan. Just a little less driven which is nice. As for labelling brews I've just done my last 2. Never done it before. But makes them look better I think. I've always just remembered which brew was which from different coloured tops before now.

You doing the orange peel Stevie lad?

May need Clibit and Steve's advice.... Girlfriend wants a ginger stout.... I want an orange stout.
So I was thinking most of those additions are at the 10 minute mark. So at that time, I would pull off 2 500 ml of wort in 2 separate pots and make tea with one being ginger the other being orange. I have 2 empty FV so after chilling, I would separate into 2 FV and then pitch the teas.
What do you think?

Sounds like the way to go to me, however this will be the first time i have added anything like orange to a brew
