It's supposed to snow here on Friday, and then through the weekend.

Freezer full of food, check
Adequate supplies of alchohol, check (stash level currently at around 200 pints + various bottles of wine)
Good supply of books & batteries, check
Good supply of camping gas, check

I'm ready for 6' for a fortnight, any less and all it will do is piss me off, although being house bound over the weekend could lead to a brewday :D

just started in Thatcham, just light flurries at present but who knows what or how much we will get.
Off shooting on saturday so as long as it's not too deep the Navara should get me there   ken.

We have got flurries here and meant to be bad tomorrow.

Last time we had a major snow fall in Manchester it took me 3 hrs to travel 5 miles to get to work only to decide there wasn't much point and I may get snowed in.

So I was planning on staying at home tomorow if it was bad and I will bring home supplies from the secret stash so I will have plenty in.

However SWMBO has other plans, looks like she has broken her foot (indoor domestic accident) and I will have to drive her to the fracture clinic tomorrow. That should be fun :( :(

Hi BM, belong to a pheasant shoot on mod land in Salisbury, only on a small scale m8 but it enables me to shoot pigeon, crow rabbit etc all year round& we also have plenty of clay traps for the odd day or two in the summer months with a bbq. Are you a shooting man yourself? ken.
Used to do target shooting with Full bore rifles & rim fire competitions but just don't get the time for it all, brewing gets in the way ;)

Afraid not Bm,never tried it but i am sure you get as much enjoyment from your sport as i do mine.
I really enjoy the walks in the outdoors with a few dogs walking up the hedgerows flushing a few bits & bobs out of the cover
but each to their own, enjoy yourself my man as we never know how long our sport will be allowed to continue with the Anti's
& changing legislation etc. ;)

BBC and Met office saying we're get a shed load tonight and tomorrow......I'm off and will have some fun with the kids. Tiger bread bought and leek and potato soup for after sledging

But in the famous word from Hill Street Blues 'Lets be careful out there' :thumb:

We have to deal with stupid kids buying our weapons and doing stupid things with them too sadly, hopefully it will all sort its self out in our favour :thumb:

And back on topic, all our staff have taken home login details so we can work from home if the snow is bad enough to stop us getting in to the office, wish I was still borrowing my mates Baja Beetle, I would collect them all in that :D

Well the news here in he South West is telling us to brace ourselves for up to 8" of snow tomorrow with some trains already having been cancelled and schools announced they will be closed, and its not even started snowing yet!
