Got plenty of snow in midlands. Im having lazy day. Phoned work and not gone in this afternoon and picked kids up from school as closed and playing in garden having few beers lol

Had a couple of inches here in Bristol, no busses running, so enforced day at home making beer labels!

One of my dogs ran out this morning, skidded to a stop, and just stood there barking at the snow  Our dogs hate the cold, but the novelty was too much, and they chased each other round for a bit, before retreating to the warmth inside. Going to be fun trying to take them for a walk later.

Been snowing lightly all day here in central london. Theres about an inch on some parked cars, but besides that its not really settling. Still, I bet the trains are off come home time.... :(

In Tamworth mate. Just had a car turn into the street and slid up kerb and nearly took out the road sign

what are they sloebrewer? my missus is going nuts! lol.

just took ours over the field at the back, more or less untouched since it started. snow's halfway up my shin! plenty of accidents and stranded cars up here.

not gonna lie, got an amaretto coffee now, time to chill the f out!

Swimbos just had a meeting cut short in Cannock as 4" of snow in the carpark already and they're having difficulty getting folk out
What are the dogs?
Manchester Terriers...hard to tell...look a bit to big :hmm:

It's quite deep here now about 4 or 5 inches the roads are bad swmbo is on her way home I the bus said the traffic is horrendous

Vossy1 is right, they are Manchester Terriers

They have coats for when I take them out, but one of them hates having cold feet so kicks her back legs up in the air all the time - we call her buckaroo when she does it

Here's one out on a walk

I thought they might be, but without anything as a better guide to size (unlike the phot above#0 I thought they might be pinschers and would have hated to upset a pair of pinschers by calling them terriers :D

I do like the Manc, a nice little thing, looks like a 'real' dog, but small enough to keep under control if it gets stroppy on a walk :)

that should reach a welshman's waist then.

So forecast almost constant snow till Tuesday in Sheffield  this might get interesting.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of most small dogs, especially the ones that look more like rats than dogs ;) Because the Manchester has proper length legs, it looks like a big dog, scaled down. In fact, the question I get asked all the time when I'm out is: "are they Doberman puppies?" as they are almost identical in shape and markings (because the Manchester was used, in part, to create the Doberman). Only thing is, being terriers, they have some annoying traits, but I love them to bits.
