Put 5" down during the night, it hammered it down around 1.00am and made the night shift enjoyable...

BB

Same here BB, roads had just got nice and clear till this lot fell again.

Wonder if my plumber will attend this morning to unblock my bath waste pipe..?

Had a bit fall around our end. Forgot how bloody exhausting pushing a pram through the snow can be.

I'm getting too bloody old to be shovelling snow in the dark !

How about one of these outside your front door.... :D

running late this morning, stupidly tried to take a shortcut to work (I work on a farm in the middle of nowhere!) ended up stuck in a 2 foot drift on a singletrack road! Luckily managed to tease the car back out and make my way to work without having to phone for someone to bring the tractor!!

Been throwing it down with snow for the last hour or so in thatcham, basingstoke, newbury etc, settling on the snow that is already there.

.... or in the light for that matter :?

Well that was an experience, a 5 hour commute which usually takes less than 40 minutes!

I think I need a beer!

Well finally now that this cold spell is coming to an end we finally have snow worth writing about. Coming down hard now but only about 1/2". But it's still coming down so a few inches possible before the night is out.
