Just de-iced the car for the misses as now the street lights go off at night it's pitch black where we park our cars. I could actually see what I was doing today thanks to the snow, although it's only a very very very thin coating of it. Apparently it's going to get heavy this afternoon though.

I love the snow, hoping we get loads so it feels like we've had a winter.

What's all this about people wanting snow days? If I can't get in to work I don't get paid :(

About 1.5" / 4cm of the damned stuff here at the moment. Trouble is, I'm supposed to be going in the wife's car today and taking it to the garage next door to our unit, and that has got wide, low profile tyres.

About an inch down at the moment in Barnsley. :D Found out my Combo van is crap in't snow.... :(

Well its getting thicker here. People are driving stupid though just took 15 minutes to travel bout half a mile.

Surprise suprise................................

(no not Cilla)

Rain in Manchester now.

Hardly any snow at work, that will soon be gone as it's raining now, no problems even on the country lanes and I got to work on time.

It would appear this is all my fault. :(

I was getting ready to leave for work when one of our cats came downstairs. Clearly needing to go outdoors for a moment while I prepared his breakfast, he approached the patio doors. He is quite capable of using the cat flap but doesn't see why he should bother when the commissionaire is on duty. If there's anyone else with whom felines deign to cohabit, I am sure you will understand.

I slid the door open, he put one paw outside, stopped, looked around, then glared back at me as if to say “this wasn't here before, I don't like it, why have you done this?”

Action to take................

One big slippered foot up the back end.............. They enjoy it really.

More rain today in Somerset, no snow. A few flakes last night but nothing that settled on anything but cars.

Brrrr -4 in Barnsley @ 09.57
Same in Wakefield BB!!
On the positive though we are to expect "a high" of a positively tropical -2, still time to get the trunks out and go for a splash!!!
White sky and frozen ground, if it does snow it'll stick!! :thumb:
