Slugs are the most disgusting creatures on Earth

Possibly in the bottom 5, but in my opinion not quite as bad as wood lice, or wasps, Cilla Black or Bruce Forsyth.

I made a mild a few weeks ago and found this on cleaning out the boiler.... Still drank it though!

I had a slug in a bottle last year. It survived the wash I always give the bottles. At first I thought "well, it won't have drunk much......" One small sip was enough to put me off. The bottle had suffered badly :sick: It tasted really "off".
If it was a slug in a whole batch though, I'd taste it and if it tasted OK I'm sure I could put it to the back of my mind and enjoy.
