I forgot to add the protofloc yesterday and, as the beer was already cooled to around 50C by this point I decided to put it in a jug with some boiling water to dissolve it and then poured it into the wort. It might work, it might not. I used to be really precious about beer clarity but now I'm not so bothered (though I prefer a clear pint in a pub!)
