I love my Angram! I looked at the DIY but for all the effort go with the real deal. UKBay prices are incredible but US shipping almost doubles cost. I’d love to have a double. The poor man’s regulator (propane) is all that’s needed. I naturally carbonate with 1.5 oz dextrose. I bought another that needed TLC for fun and a portable option.

If this is to fit a sparkler, I think that a 5/8 shank on a beer tap is BSP (14 TPI) and if the reference I previously posted is correct the sparkler is 5/8 26 TPI. Don't think you'll get a Duotight or JG fitting at this pitch.... happy to be proved wrong though!

I wonder if you could do something with the extension that RLBS sell and some epoxy?

Gas hose? 5/8 inch male (thread, what thread)? 8mm pushfit?

This is adding up to something potentially very scary. No wonder @RoomWithABrew asked "Why?".

Ah, @MCRBrew has a less pessimistic idea of what's being attempted! Still (a person like me has undying pessimism) there's no mention of gas in his reply. @MashBag; explain.

Yeah 5/8 26 TPI hose tail was my next thought.

8mm hose fits beautifully into a party tap.
Add to that a sparkler and all I need to do is estimate the pressure excerted by a hand pump....

So what horrific ideas had you come up with.
"Gas hose" (the talk was all beer-line before that). "5/8 male" and "BSP" (a common thread diameter for compressed gas cylinders - i.e. even higher pressure than liquid CO2). "Duotight or JG fitting to connect 8mm push fit hose to 5/8 male" (that's enough; he might have had much to do with gas cylinder filling, allegedly, but this banter is getting dangerous).

Push fits and other "bus-line" components generally have a max. pressure tolerance of 10 BAR (147 PSI). A compressed gas cylinder can hold two to three thousand PSI!

Get it! You should be able to think of your own horrific ideas from that. 💨

On the subject of big bangs ... It's November 5th ✨ oooo, wheeee

(I'm not quite sure why it's something to celebrate through).
