I needed a crowbar , Vaseline and a feather duster to get it from him. He kept muttering “my precious” and trying to show me his ringBet @samale gave mine a bleddy good shake up before passing it on.
I've not had confirmation of it being delivered today. Could be because of the 2 day strike we had.. So much for 48hr deliveryI was hoping to drink all my offerings tonight but I’m still waiting on yours @SMP Brewery
Thank god for that! My own stock of Tropical Stout is very low!@Begbie your beer just arrived
It’s in the row boat as we speak. Just a donkey ride to the village elder then. Won’t take more than a month.@Donegal john I wouldn’t expect it any time soon. Looks like it’s going via snail mail.

Probably drinking my Malt Miller & CBC IPA and are all IllEast India trading company
Plum! That's what I was tasting! Couldn't pinpoint the flavour, but now that you mention it, that's what it was!So finally.
@pilgrimhudd tropical stout
Aroma is initially yeast but when swirled it gives dark fruit and black malt aromas.
Head is fluffy and settles to a nice tan ring that is easily roused with a swirl.
Taste was “wow” this is nice with lots of fruit no bitterness and a chocolate finish. Nice velvet mouthfeel and plum and damson flavours that linger on the pallet and has you licking your lips after each mouthful.
Hits all the marks for a tropical stout as per style and a dam fine beer for a Friday night.
Cheers for sending and we’ll done that man

I was looking for the red berry flavours and couldn’t find them lolPlum! That's what I was tasting! Couldn't pinpoint the flavour, but now that you mention it, that's what it was!
Not the best beer I have ever made. Not sure why the lack of head retention, maybe it might improve@samale tropical now.
Poured with a small head that disappeared very quickly aroma Is fruit and sugar. Mouthfeel Is fairly thin but the flavour is all there. Fruit chocolate and sweetness all in one. A nice lingering taste with slight liquorice notes a very nice beer and we’ll received.View attachment 78622

My 2nd tropical, @samale ,
Not much of a head on this one, white froth dissipates pretty quickly. Well carbed though.
Aroma, not much fruitiness but its there, a lovely malty roast aroma though.
Taste, a nice chocolate, roast and stone fruit flavour. Like DJ, a bit of liquorice.
Mouthfeel, again a bit thin maybe? Not sure what the abv is but it doesn't pack a punch.
Overall enjoyed it again, I think could do with a bit more body but otherwise very nice! Thanks for sharing!
