What was the final gravityJust bottled my stout. Tastes great, even if I say so myself. Must be my best brew...since the last one. Very mellow and smooth. Will be interesting to see how it matures in the bottle. Came out at 7.35% and a lovely colour. Am impressed.
It came down to 1.016. 77% attenuation which was great. What was the final gravity
If I get something similar I will have a 6 5% version. Not sure if I should keg or bottle or maybe a mixture of bothIt came down to 1.016. 77% attenuation which was great.
That'll be . Mine doesn't taste strong, hoping it doesn't change during conditioning. I don't have a keg so I can't recommend, but maybe a mixture gives a nice contrast between the methods? When is yours ready? If I get something similar I will have a 6 5% version. Not sure if I should keg or bottle or maybe a mixture of both
I was expecting around 1.018 but the yeast (notingham) worked better than expected...and my OG was high. What yeast did you use?Bottled mine yesterday, curse of the dark malts, didn't get down as low as i'd hoped, 1018 ish, making it 7%.
