just had a Glug M'glug from Black Sheep for the first time. very nice 'Dunkel'esque dark IPA - £1.25 in BandM's at the minute. Defo a brew for winter beer.

Sorry, the wrong end a few, a Coopers Amber Ale, 6%, with an early EKG and First Gold tea and a late Bramling Cross hop tea, bottled 03/05/18, really coming along.

Sampler of my first ever AG effort - Darkstar Festival clone 4 weeks in PB and its clear as you like despite irish moss omission. Nice flavour and mouthfeel but rubbish head retention.

Siren Aqua de Sapo
Siren Amigos Brittanicos
Fullers ESB
Thornbridge Tzara

And I think I'm done for the night. Got a homebrew boiled and in the FV as well.

Blooming hell that brings me back. Alas I no longer have any of my old vinyls.......you need wheels.

I do, but they are all packed away. I use Spotify premium family, £15 a month, separate accounts for me, my better half and both the kids, works on phones, iPhones, tablets, laptops and our TV's. It's great.

Visited a bottle shop to grab my mate a couple of bottles for letting me stay st his place in cardiff. Had a couple whilst I was there

Fancied something hoppy tonight - and only have Kolsch, golden ale and Hefeweizen in my homebrew stocks - so I’ve bought a bottle of BD Clockwork Tangerine from my local Tesco. I hope it’s not as disappointing as Indie Pale Ale was!

A few milds ( GW's hop back clone) then a couple of GW hop back summer lightning clones, that are refusing to drop totally clear for some reason.

This is a very difficult style to master for a homebrewer. My two efforts at Summer lightning have tasted great, but it is really asking a lot for the degree of clarity you get from a filtered, commercial product @ 5 times the price.

Split batch of a beer made with flour, wheat malt and spraymalt and wheatbeer yeast the split is: no dry hop, an EKG dry hop and an EKG+Galaxy dry hop. I really upped the coriander after not getting much of a hit in a previous beer and did faaar too much in this. The no dry hop tastes like bubble bath 2/10. The EKG is better and the hops are a little harsh so still 3/10, the one with galaxy is almost approaching a good beer and I can see some people really liking it, but still 3/10 for me. Behind the bubble bath is a beer that's like a malty Scottish brew or brown ale that coats your teeth and makes me think of old fashioned (good) pubs with a real fire. It leaves a taste and thickness in your mouth like you've had Christmas pudding. It's so damn annoying because I know my mate Jon would love this if it weren't for the coriander.

And, and it's got none of the damn phenol problem I've had recently! Ghyahhhh... I'm actually taking the last bit as a positive.

I am now only 79% sh*ite at beer. Yay.
